Is every WearBass piece really one of one?

Yes. Most WearBass pieces are one of one — a single, unrepeatable garment. A small number of pieces belong to a very limited series of only a few pieces. Nothing is restocked or mass-produced.

Why is there no 'Add to Cart' or checkout on the WearBass site?

Because each piece is unique, WearBass does not use a standard e-commerce cart or instant checkout. Instead, you submit a private request for a piece, the designer reviews it personally, and you are contacted directly with next steps and a secure payment link.

How do I buy a WearBass piece?

Open the piece you're interested in and select 'Request This Piece'. Fill in your details and a short note about why you want the piece. The designer reviews every request personally and replies directly by email with approval and a private payment link, or with any questions.

What does 'Under Review', 'Reserved', and 'Acquired' mean?

'Available' means the piece can be requested. 'Under Review' means one or more requests are being considered by the designer. 'Reserved' means a request has been approved and payment is pending. 'Acquired' means the piece has been sold and is now shown in the Archive.

What materials and techniques does WearBass use?

WearBass pieces are upcycled and reconstructed from existing garments and fabric, most often finished with dense hand embroidery, beading, or appliqué. Each piece's materials and technique are listed on its individual page.

Does WearBass ship internationally?

Yes. Once a request is approved and paid, the designer coordinates shipping details — including international delivery — directly with the customer. See the Shipping Policy for details.
